Today in the lecture we learned about gates. These were the part of a town where the important decisions were made. In our lives, there are gates in our mind, and corporate gates in government at every level. God wants to help us choose His way, but Satan wants to influence people to choose his way instead. Unfortunately in many governments, it is not God who's ways are followed.
After Community Care we had our weekly meeting to prepare for our trip to India. The good news is that my visa has come through, as has the visa for a British girl. However, the visas for the others on the trip have not yet come though yet, so if you could please pray for them to get their visas, that would be great. We also talked about our desires for the trip. I talked about how the caste system has been on my mind. It really isn't fair that some people get looked down on, just because of the family they were born in to. Also in this morning's lecture we looked at how God made us all equal. The caste system is a perversion of this idea. There is no need for it any more.
I need to get my own travel insurance and get several immunisations done for my trip. Please could you pray everything gets sorted quickly for those?
In the evening we had a ministry night, which started with a time of sung worship, then the lecturers prayed for each of us.
It has been another quick, but long day on the YWAM DTS course here at Holmsted Manor!
