I've been using an Android phone (the LG GW620) for the past couple of months, and so I've used a variety of apps in this time. Here are a few that I'd recommend:
- Twidroyd - a very capable Twitter app
- YouVersion - the Android Bible app (and Touch Bible Free is useful for when you don't have an internet connection)
- Newspapers - a useful interface for accessing the web sites of various news sources from around the world
- Quickpedia - as it sounds, an Android app for Wikipedia
- RAC Traffic - I use this pretty much daily to see which route home from work I should take
- Aldiko Book Reader - a nice book reader with a decent selection of books to download (such as the one I'm currently reading: For the Win by Cory Doctorow)
I also like the built in web browser and GPS/map app.
I'm trying to get in to using Google Tasks, and that has a nice mobile site that syncs with the desktop version.
Are you an Android user too? If so, what apps would you recommend to me?
